Company Culture

This month, we got together in Belfast and Toronto for our quarterly meet-ups!
Our UK and Canadian teams enjoyed spending time together and catching up over some dinner, drinks, and games. Looking forward to the next one in June!

Did you know that last week (22nd April) was Earth Day? We are always looking for ways to help positively impact our environment, so one of our commitments is to plant a tree for every new hire at SciLeads. Excited to see we're at 83 trees so far!

Team Highlights

It's tradeshow season again! The team was in San Diego last week, and soon we’ll be at ISCT in Dublin (where we’ll also be hosting one of our famous SciLeads parties), followed by a couple of shows in Boston. For our commercial teams, regular travel is a big part of the role, offering the chance to meet customers face-to-face.

Closer to home, we had a fantastic turnout at our Belfast SciLeads party, following the Microbiology Society conference. It was great to catch up with familiar faces and connect with new ones!

Eilis Crickard recently represented SciLeads on a panel at the Women in Tech NI event, a day focused on encouraging more young women to explore careers in technology. Joining a range of industry voices, Eilis shared insights into her career journey, the skills that matter in tech, and what day-to-day life in the industry really looks like.

Laura Haldane also took to the stage at the AWS London Summit, delivering a talk on AI, with the audience tuned in via headphones in what felt like a professional “silent disco.” She shared how SciLeads is leveraging AI to transform how customers interact with our data…watch this space!
